Blog 1 : Hair video series

I did a video series about simple makeup previously. In this blog, I’ll be doing a hair video series. The series shows some of the steps I took to transform my hair from clipped up to styled and curled. It was for my performance. I do performances such as dancing and emceeing. I can choreograph and I teach dancing too.

I made a video prior to the hair transformation process which shows what kind of hair challenges that are usually encountered, such as having frizzy hair.

Next, I show my hair transition – before and after my hair transformation.

I can go to perform already; to dance and emcee. #stylinghair #curlyhair #naturalhair #longhair #naturallonghair #haircare #selfcare #hairstyle #hairtok #beauty #fashion #emcee #dancer #choreographer #danceteacher #justkeepdancing #creatorsearchinsights ♬ I Live in Abundance – ManifestMusic.Studio

Part 1 of the hair video series began with my introduction, where I express my gratitude towards my hair that has grown so long. It’s a progress from my bald times where I shaved my head in order to heal my skin. Bald by choice, thank goodness. When my skin got better, I let my hair grow. It took effort to take care of it because I can’t simply use any hair products and visiting some salons would be out of question. Some more I’m juggling between continuing my self healing process and all the other parts of my life that I need to handle. So for those of you who are healthy and able bodied, what’s your excuse for not taking care of your appearance? Not that everyone has to look like supermodels but there’s more that many can do, from what I can see especially if they can afford it. Your body is what you have in this lifetime, so make the best out of it and take care of it before you don’t have it anymore.

@myleong #hair #part1 I’m thankful for my natural long hair. I’ll continue with the rest of the hair video series in another blog post. Stay tuned. Just keep dancing.
