Last Day of Christmas

Today is the last day of Christmas. Last day of Christmas is either 5th of January or 6th of January, depending on whether you count it starting on Christmas Day or the day after. Last day of Christmas is also known as  Twelfth Night or Epiphany Eve.

 

My Christmas this year has been fulfilling in terms of my dancing. I see growth in terms of my dance journey. I have embarked on a solo dance journey ever since I have recovered from my chronic illness and slowly healed to be well enough to choreograph dances plus to stand up and dance to my choreography. Dancing has helped me to keep myself fit and keep me moving physically so that I feel better. I’m very happy. *tears of joy* Thankful for the healing and that my self healing worked. Thank you.

 

I made a few short videos during Christmas 2024. This month has seen growth in my content creation especially in TikTok. I made more content than the months before. Posting up pictures in social media used to be so easy when I was a teenager and in my early 20s. Now, it feels like I’ve to brainstorm before posting anything. Sometimes I don’t even post because life calls for more important things to do such as taking care of myself, healing my health and making money. Then as you age, you get slower so you do less things. It’s like that Cantonese saying of “people aging, like machine breaking down”. Social media didn’t exist in my younger teenage years if not I think I would have posted even more contents than the people who like to post a few times a day. Oh yeah, I’m that old. My younger days are in the dinosaur era.

 

The one posted in social media on my Christmas dance was a modern dance, which is a lyrical dance to the remix version of Last Christmas sung by Ariana Grande. Last day of Christmas and I’m posting here the Last Christmas dance, what a coincidence. May my dancing last forever. May it also be the last time that I’ll do anything detrimental to myself. Self love prevails.
