Today is Chap Goh Meh, which is the last day of Chinese New Year. “Chap Goh Meh” is in Hokkien and literally translates as “15th Night”. Chinese New Year lasts 15 days every year, so on the 15th night, there will be a celebration to signify the last day of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
